New Essay included in The B(e)aring All Project
Learn what I've been up to over the past year, and lessons I've learned
Happy summer, friends and family.
I’m thrilled to share that I have had an essay included in The B(e)aring All Project.
I really love and believe in this project; it is rare in that it features essays and personal stories that truly encompass the many layers of attempting to grow our families, loss, tough decisions and outcomes, and the many layers of grief and joy associated with these experiences.
I feel so flattered to be in the company of these inspirational authors and storytellers.
My story is about what I have been up to and the things that I have learned (and am still learning!) in the past year since Roe fell, and I subsequently took a large step back from more day-to-day advocacy and specifically, Missouri-based local advocacy. I write a lot, but mostly about my loss, or about policies/laws/lawmakers/legislation, and this was a welcome change. I rarely get to talk about how it actually feels to be a later abortion patient advocate.
Please feel free to read, and most of all, check out this wonderful project.

I hope you’re having a wonderful summer, with all of the trappings. Here’s a picture of Hannah and I enjoying one of our favorite summer activities: the local fair. We love a Ferris Wheel!
More soon,
Robin
Cute photo! And congratulations on the new publication!
