Who am I?

I am Robin Utz, a married mom living in St. Louis, Missouri. I had a later abortion in 2016 and was so upset about how the state of Missouri treated me that I started talking about it. And kept talking about it. And apparently, never stop talking about it.

My goal since my later abortion has been to fight stigma through storytelling and to fight terrible policies like abortion bans. In the process, I have learned a lot becoming an advocate, abortion bans and ‘exceptions’, politics, and how democracy is gamed in the United States. And I still have a lot to learn. Join me?

I am a Moth Mainstage storyteller, and have been featured in the Washington Post, NPR’s 1A and All Things Considered, Al Jazeera, BBC Newshour, Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Foreign Correspondent, Tokyo Shimbun, Chicago Tribune and more.
